Learn to use the inBuild mobile app to submit, review, and approve documents from anywhere.

Download

Submit physical documents using your camera, review documents, and send for approval. Available on the App Store and Google Play.

Log In

  1. Download the inBuild mobile app using the links above.

  2. Enter your inBuild Username and Password (these are case sensitive).

  3. Click Sign In.

Submit an Invoice

1. From the app home screen, click the Plus Symbol in the lower right-hand corner

2. Use the Take Photo option to open your camera and snap a photo of the document. Alternatively, you can use the Photo Library or Choose Files option to upload a photo or document already saved to your device.

3. Frame your document in bright lighting on a clear background and use the Shutter Button to take a picture.

4. The display will update, with the Shutter Button showing how many photos have been taken. This way you can take pictures of multiple sides / pages.

5. When ready, click the Right Arrow to proceed to the final selection screen.

6. Here you can select / deselect certain images (noted by the blue circle in the upper right-hand corner) before hitting the Save button to submit the document.

7. After clicking Save you will be presented with the option to submit a New Invoice or proceed Back Home.

Review and Approve an Invoice

1. Click on the Invoice Listing from the app home screen.

2. From here you can review the document details that the AI has processed. Review and edit any existing information by clicking on the Invoice Detail to edit them.

3. Once the Details look good, you can proceed to the Items or Payment tab to finalize all of the document information.

4. In the Items tab, you can click Add Item to assign the cost code related to the document.

5. Click on the Cost Code to select it. Note: if your cost codes aren't appearing immediately, use the Refresh button in the upper right-hand corner to reload the list.

6. Once your Item Code, Description, and Amount look correct, click Save.

7. [Optional] To mark this document as already paid, proceed to the Payment tab and select the payment Type of Credit Card. Edit any other details relevant to this payment here.

8. To Submit the processed document, click the Arrow Button in the lower right-hand corner.

9. [Optional] To send to other approvers, use the Right Arrow to select additional approvers. Then return to this screen and click Send for Review.

10. Click Approve to send the document from the inbox and into your project budget.

Log Out

  1. From the Inbox click on the user icon in the upper right-hand corner

  2. Click Log Out at the bottom of the user details page

Check App Version

  1. From the Inbox click on the user icon in the upper right-hand corner

  2. Identify the version number located below the log out button
